Paramedics and police respond to a wreck with injuries in Los Angeles. They extract a male and transport him to the hospital. The car is towed and impounded. While attempting to contact relatives, it is discovered that a family member is missing. Someone calls the impound lot and says “Hey, go look in that car and see if you see anything.” Well, yeah, the mother of the injured man is found dead on the passenger side.
“There are a lot of questions and we don’t have all of the answers,” Lopez [Mike Lopez of LAPD] said, adding that authorities are “conducting an investigation surrounding this unfortunate incident.”
An investigation? How about just suspending everyone on the crew for a month without pay and demoting the supervisor on the scene? Or are paramedics members by proxy of The Only Ones brigade?
