Hate it when that happens
Don’t you hate it when lefty comedians make them selves Huffington martyrs by rudely spouting off on Fox News, then posts a diatribe about the whole affair on a blog? Here’s what Lee Camp truly believes -
…I have no desire to support a propaganda machine that has facilitated the false election of George W. and the unwarranted invasion of Iraq. … My view of a lack of class is knowing that nearly a million civilians have died in Iraq and yet then reporting that 80,000 have. My view of unrefined is calling peace activists “anti-American.” My view of barbaric is being aware that genocide goes on in Darfur but refusing to speak about it on-air because the people funding it are your corporate friends.
I think I have this right (go to the Alternet.org blog to read the whole sack o’ crap):
a) The Supreme Court is A-OK in leftyville regarding Roe vs. Wade, but it’s EVVILLLL when a decision concerning a presidential election pisses them off.
b) The unwarranted invasion of Iraq was bad, even though it got rid of a genocidal maniac, genocide being one of the things being decried 2 sentences later.
c) Only Fox news is considered evil and biased since ABC, NBC, CNN, and BBC are not mentioned once. Only Fox news is incompetent due the attractiveness of its female employees.
Camp needs to stick with standup since his political analysis really blows.

Also, the civilian death total is false. There is no credible study that comes anywhere near one million.
Although we must never forget that every innocent lost to war is tragic.
